We're very excited to announce that sign-ups for the Consultant role are starting now!

Consultants will assist with replacing offensive racist and antisemitic content from Retail, such as Mystery Island and Shenkuu. However, they'll also be consulted for advice for future Moderneopets colours, to provide diverse pet art that can represent everybody.

We specifically are seeking out people who are effected by the negative stereotypes currently portrayed by Neopets, and minority groups that can contribute to future projects.

You may have known about them for a while if you've been exploring the perilous jungle of Geraptiku, but if you haven't bumped into these little friends yet then boy do I have news for you! After their discovery there was a massive vote for what these friends should be named... The winner was Skritter! The name Skritter was thought into existence by four of our lovely Neopians, so congratulations:

The Skritters have become so comfortable with Neopians now that they're leaving their jungle to go off and play with their new pals; and you can be one of them! Simply head on over to the jungle and adopt one for your own! They come in a default of EIGHT different colours, talk about spoilt for choice!



The shopkeepers took note of the new Neopets discovery a long while ago and have been anxiously awaiting the name voting to be over so they can start selling their merchandise! Skritter merch has hit the shops big time with 66 new items! This includes a bunch of Magical Plushies and Morphing Potions!

Wow... it's hard to believe it's already been two years since we've been open! How fast the time flies by when you're having fun!

We hope for many fun more years to come and to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary/Birthday we're giving everyone...

Though it's encouraged to celebrate who you are all year around, this month is especially fun and important to all of the LGBTQI+ and other minorities out there! We've prepared a BIG update for you... I'm not kidding when I say BIG. It increased the total pet images on site by a whole 50% and had over 12,012 files to upload!

Lets hope things don't explode. If they do, blame Hazer.

Turns out the issue wasn't the passwords... it was if you'd ever made a PIN or not in the past as they use the encryption.
All PINS have been cleared, please re-set a PIN when you can (if you want one)

If you didn't have a PIN to begin with, you can safely ignore this announcement.
No one needs to reset their passwords either, and you can ignore the -e-mail that was sent out to you (if you received it)

Hazer is a derp and overwrote his environment key which deals with encrypting passwords and other things.
Since this is one of the files that isn't kept on backup as it differs from server to server, I cannot reclaim it.
I have reset all your passwords and sent e-mails out! Sorry about the trouble but the encryption errors were making half the site unusable until people updated.
Sorry again for the trouble and I will definitely make sure this doesn't happen again.

Now that the April showers have come and gone, here we have our May 'flowers'! Several pets can now be painted Woodland for a fun, foliage-filled new look!




The scent of fresh blooming flowers has also attracted the attention of the butterfly winged Faerie Ginko-- and what's this? A new alt for faeries seems to have emerged! That's right! Some of the older faerie pets are being rejuvenated by renewed Faerie energies and will be coming out with Fanciful new looks!


This month is full of fascination and wonder, the moment you think the excitement is over a splash of magic hits you! Oh, it was just some new Maraquan pets playing in the water! Enjoy the new Chia, Ginko and Motere Maraquans!

It seems like a bunch of broken lamps have been thrust out of magma vents into the seas recently. Our good friend and scavenger Iris has been on the lookout for them; adding them to her collection and her shop!


You will now be able to find these old rusted lamps in Iris Pearl Paradise for a low price of only 500 Golden Shells!

They're in a bit of a beaten up shape but who knows, maybe someone with expertise in fixing and mending items could come to your rescue and make these lamps glow beautifully like they were always meant too!
